This is the End

After 14 months, 7 countries, 6 jobs and thousands of experiences shared with hundred of people met, my adventure around Australasia is now over and I guess so is this Blog.

It has been a wonderful time and I feel taking this year for me before being too settled down to do it, has been one of the best decision I have ever made. I now feel full of energy, blossomed and very confident to come back to the "real life".

Traveling taught me many things such as keeping my calm when unexpected situations arise and to try to find alternative options to move forward. I also feel very confident when meeting new people even from different cultures. The desire of seeing as much as I can, even on a budget, forced me to carefully plan and budget my travels.

To sum up, it might be hard to leave family, friends and security behind but it's totally worth it and I recomend it to everyone!

It's with a bit of nostalgy but mostly with really excitement to see what's coming next, that

I wish you all the best for 2011!

Thailand

After backpacking around for months, I decided to end my adventure in "Oceasia" charging my batteries with two weeks of pure "chilling out" with my best mate in Thailand (I still feel very guilty about it ;)

We headed to Railey Beach which is Thailand biggest "cliché" and we loved it!

It's the perfect place to read, sunbath and lazy around.
For the more active, it's also the mecca of climbing

Or any king of jugglery such as line walking.

We chose to stay on the beach just next to Railey, Tonsai Beach which is less crowed. We quickly understood that the reason was that it's only accessible through a 30 minutes walk throught the jungle or 20 minutes walk at low tide ;)

Considering the cute and less cute neighbors, we chose the water!

We also spent some time in Krabi, a more authentic Thai city. We had the chance to find a night market celebrating the King's birthday with traditional dances.

We also went to see my friend from Melbourne Alex, in Kho Lanta.

Our last stop in Thailand has been Bangkok for some Christmas shopping

After two weeks of "Pura Vida", it's now time for us to head back to Kuala Lampur to catch our flight back to London !!!

Look how guilty I feel !!!

So beware Europe, I am coming back and cain't wait for it !!!
